Refund Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
Short version: we do not offer refunds. If you are unhappy with
Vulkro, email [email protected] and we will do what we reasonably
can to make it right.
Why no refunds
A Vulkro license for offline and air-gapped use is a
cryptographically signed .lic file we hand to you after payment.
The signature is verified locally by the binary, on your machine,
without any check-in to our servers. There is no kill-switch on our
end. Once we issue a .lic, we cannot take it back. We can stop
renewing it, but we cannot stop the version that is already in your
possession from working until its expiry.
A refund in that situation would mean returning your money while you keep an operational copy of the software, which is not a workable policy.
For the same reason, every account starts with a 14-day trial before any purchase. The trial begins on your first device login, unlocks the full feature set on your machine, and requires no payment instrument. If Vulkro is going to be worth the money for you, you will know inside the 14 days.
If you are unhappy
We would rather have a fair conversation than a frustrated customer.
If something is not working for you, whether that's the product,
a billing mistake, a missing detector, or anything else, email
[email protected] with the details and we will respond personally.
We do not tier our response queue by plan; everyone gets the same
attention. We will do what we reasonably can to resolve it,
including but not limited to:
- Fixing the underlying issue if it is a real bug
- Issuing a fresh license bound to a different machine if your hardware changed
- Crediting unused time toward a different plan
- In exceptional circumstances, considering a partial or full goodwill refund at our sole discretion
We make no promises about which path we will take. We make this promise: we will read your email, take it seriously, and write back with a real response from a real person.
Nothing to "cancel"
A Vulkro license is a one-time, fixed-term grant. Licenses are
issued directly by the Vulkro team ([email protected]) rather
than sold self-serve. When your license or trial expires, nothing
recurs and nothing renews: the CLI tells you the license lapsed and
prompts you to request a new one, and the reports, scan history,
and configuration on your machine remain yours. Request a fresh
license whenever you are ready. There is no subscription portal
because there is no subscription.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to revoke the customer relationship (no future licenses, no future support), in addition to whatever your card network decides about the disputed amount. Please email us first. It is faster and usually friendlier.
